1. Our Principles
Twiikle is built on the belief that short-form video can inspire, educate, and connect people around the world. Every policy in these Guidelines flows from four core principles:
Creative Expression
We champion originality. Creators should feel free to experiment with formats, ideas, and storytelling styles. We will never remove content simply because it is unconventional or provocative—only when it crosses the lines defined below.
Safety
Everyone on Twiikle—Viewers and Creators alike—deserves to feel safe. We invest in proactive detection, human review, and rapid response to protect our community from harm.
Authenticity
Trust is the foundation of commerce and community. We require honest representation of products, transparent affiliate relationships, and zero tolerance for deceptive practices.
Respect
Diverse perspectives make Twiikle stronger. We expect all users to engage with empathy and civility, even in disagreement. Attacks on identity, dignity, or personhood have no place here.
2. Prohibited Content
The following categories of content are not permitted on Twiikle. Violations will result in content removal and may lead to strikes or account suspension under our enforcement system.
2.1 Violence and Graphic Content
- Content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies real-world violence, torture, or severe physical harm.
- Graphic imagery of accidents, crime scenes, or medical procedures intended to shock rather than inform.
- Threats of violence against any individual or group.
- Exception: Educational, documentary, or newsworthy content with appropriate context may be permitted with an age-restriction label.
2.2 Hate Speech and Discrimination
- Content that attacks, dehumanizes, or incites hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or caste.
- Use of slurs, dehumanizing stereotypes, or symbols associated with hate groups.
- Denial or trivialization of well-documented historical atrocities.

- Doxxing—revealing private information (home address, phone number, workplace) without consent.
- Coordinated campaigns to shame, ridicule, or silence another user.
- Content that encourages others to harass or brigade a person on or off Twiikle.
2.4 Sexual Exploitation and Nudity

- Content that sexualizes individuals without their consent.
- Solicitation of sexual acts or services.
- Exception: Non-sexual nudity in artistic, educational, or cultural contexts may be permitted with an age-restriction label.
2.5 Child Safety
Zero Tolerance Policy. Twiikle maintains an absolute zero-tolerance stance on child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors.
- Any CSAM or suspected CSAM is immediately removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.
- Accounts involved are permanently banned without appeal.
- Twiikle complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Users under 13 are not permitted to create accounts.
- Content featuring minors must not place them in dangerous, exploitative, or inappropriate situations.
2.6 Dangerous Activities and Challenges

2.7 Misinformation and Deceptive Content

- Manipulated media (deepfakes, doctored images) presented as authentic without clear labeling.
- Impersonation of other individuals, brands, or organizations with intent to deceive.
2.8 Spam and Manipulation
- Artificially inflating views, likes, comments, followers, or shares through bots, purchased engagement, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
- Repetitive, unwanted, or bulk-posted content designed to manipulate discovery or recommendations.
- Automated accounts (bots) that interact with the platform without disclosure.
- Engagement manipulation schemes, including "like-for-like" and "follow-for-follow" rings operated at scale.
2.9 Illegal Activities

- Sale or promotion of controlled substances and illegal drugs.
- Sale, trafficking, or promotion of illegal weapons.
- Fraud, phishing, scams, or financial exploitation.
- Human trafficking or smuggling.
- Intellectual property theft (see our separate Terms of Service and DMCA policy).
3. Commerce-Specific Rules
Twiikle integrates affiliate commerce through product tagging, allowing Creators to earn commissions on products featured in their videos. This privilege comes with responsibility.
3.1 Honest Product Representation
- Creators must represent products truthfully. Claims about a product's features, quality, price, or performance must be accurate and substantiated.
- Do not use misleading before/after imagery, fabricated testimonials, or exaggerated results.
- If you have not personally used a product, disclose that fact clearly.
3.2 No Fake Reviews or Misleading Claims
- Fabricated reviews, staged "unboxing" reactions misrepresented as genuine, and undisclosed paid endorsements are prohibited.
- Do not misrepresent the nature of your relationship with a brand (e.g., claiming to be an official partner when you are not).
- Comparative claims ("better than Brand X") must be fair, substantiated, and not misleading.
3.3 FTC Disclosure Compliance
Automatic Disclosures. When a Creator tags a product with an affiliate link, Twiikle automatically adds a visible disclosure badge (e.g., "Includes paid link") to the video. This system-level disclosure is always present and cannot be removed by the Creator.
- Creators are additionally encouraged to verbally or textually disclose material connections within the video itself.
- Sponsored content and brand partnerships must be disclosed using Twiikle's built-in sponsorship label, in compliance with FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).
- Attempting to circumvent or obscure disclosure labels is a violation of these Guidelines.

4. Community Strike System
Twiikle uses a progressive strike system for Community Guidelines violations. This is separate from DMCA/copyright strikes, which are governed by our Terms of Service.
| Strike |
Consequence |
Details |
| 1st Strike |
Warning + Content Removed |
The violating content is removed. The Creator receives a formal warning with an explanation of the specific policy violated. No restrictions on account functionality. |
| 2nd Strike |
7-Day Upload Restriction |
The Creator cannot upload new videos or tag products for 7 days. Existing content remains live. The Creator can still view, comment, and engage. |
| 3rd Strike |
30-Day Restriction |
The Creator cannot upload, tag products, or go live for 30 days. Affiliate commerce earnings are paused during the restriction period. |
| 4th Strike |
Permanent Suspension |
The account is permanently suspended. All content is removed. Pending affiliate earnings are forfeited per the Terms of Service. The user may not create new accounts. |
Strike Expiration
Strikes expire 90 days after they are issued, provided no additional violations occur during that period. After expiration, the strike is removed from the Creator's record. Permanent suspensions (4th strike) are not subject to expiration.
Severe Violations
Twiikle reserves the right to bypass the progressive strike system and immediately suspend accounts for severe violations, including but not limited to: child exploitation (CSAM), terrorism and violent extremism, credible threats of real-world violence, and repeated creation of accounts to evade bans.
5. Reporting Violations
Every member of the Twiikle community plays a role in keeping the platform safe. If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, please report it.
How to Report
- In-App Report Button: Tap the "..." menu on any video, comment, or profile and select "Report." Choose the reason that best describes the violation. Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team, typically within 24 hours.
- Email: For issues that cannot be reported in-app, or for urgent safety concerns, contact us at support@twiikle.com. Include the username, a link or description of the content, and a brief explanation of the concern.
What Happens After a Report
- Our Trust & Safety team reviews the reported content against these Community Guidelines.
- If a violation is confirmed, the content is removed and a strike may be issued to the account.
- The reporter receives a notification confirming that the report has been reviewed (the specific outcome is not disclosed to protect privacy).
- If no violation is found, the content remains on the platform and the reporter is notified.
No Retaliation. Twiikle prohibits retaliation against users who file reports in good faith. If you believe you are being retaliated against for filing a report, please contact support@twiikle.com immediately.
6. Appeals
We recognize that enforcement decisions are not always straightforward. If you believe your content was removed in error or that a strike was unwarranted, you have the right to appeal.
How to Appeal
- In-App Appeal: When content is removed or a strike is issued, you will receive a notification with an "Appeal" button. Tap it to submit your appeal directly within the app.
- Email Appeal: Alternatively, send an appeal to support@twiikle.com with the subject line "Community Guidelines Appeal" and include your username, the content in question, and your reasoning.
Appeal Review Process
- Appeals are reviewed by a different member of the Trust & Safety team than the one who made the original decision.
- Appeals are typically resolved within 5 business days.
- If the appeal is successful, the content is restored and the strike is removed from your record.
- If the appeal is denied, the original decision stands. You will receive a detailed explanation.
- Each enforcement action may be appealed once. The appeal decision is final.
7. Updates to These Guidelines
Twiikle may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to address new challenges, evolving legal requirements, or changes to our platform.
- Material Changes: We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice before material changes take effect. Notice will be delivered via in-app notification and email to all registered users.
- Minor Clarifications: Non-substantive edits (typo fixes, formatting, clarifications that do not change policy meaning) may be made without advance notice.
- Version History: All previous versions of these Guidelines will remain accessible on our website for reference.
- Continued Use: By continuing to use Twiikle after updated Guidelines take effect, you agree to the revised terms.
